Paint Your Own Pottery Studio

Artists will learn and practice some basic drawing techniques.  Then, transfer their art onto a mural consisting of tiles.  Kids will see this project through from conceptualization to masterpiece as the tiles are pieced together.

Art Through the Ages ... June 29 - July 2
We will follow the Masters through the ages and experience how art has evolved with their contributions.  Meet Picasso, Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock and more in this amazing adventure through art history.   

Clay, Clay, Clay ... July 6 - 9  
Get your hands wet and dirty in this clay only week.  Kids will learn to pinch, coil and slab as they visualize the stages from greenware to bisque.

Glass Fusion ... July 13 - 16

We will be fusing glass during this glass-warming excursion in color, shape and form.  Suggested ages:  10 & older.  Due to exposure to sharp objects.

Just for Tweens ... July 20 - 23  
This will be a week-long project where kids will carry out the various phases of a tile/mosaic project.  The end result:  a beautiful display of creative talent.

Underwater Adventure ... July 27 - 30
We will dive into the waters of the underworld as kids bubble their way into some fun and colorful sea adventures.

Glass Fusion II... August 3 - 6
Look at bugs, plants and the world around us as we incorporate nature into our art projects.  Show your green thumb in this dirty but fun-filled session.

Mosaic Madness ... August 10 - 13

Play with glass, iridium, mirrors and more using plaques of various shapes.  Learn to grout and meet a famous local artist.

Free for All ... August 17 - 20

No theme this week.  Just good ‘ol fashion fun, a variety of figurines for painting and creative, wholesome craft projects.  Younger kids welcome!
