Our Business

We are a contemporary ceramic studio, focusing on utilizing ceramic painting as a form of relaxation, a creative outlet as well as an enjoyable and wholesome experience for the entire family.  Ceramic painting can encourage children to use their imagination and creativity, skills that are essential to growth and enhanced through art.  For adults, it can be therapeutic to spend some quiet, creative time, or  a bonding experience to have fun and make something memorable with your child(ren).  Our staff is here to make your experience one that you'll remember and you'll have a unique keepsake to remind  you of that special time.  Whether it's a simple gift for someone or an event to signify a special occasion, we are here to help.

Who We Are

All in the kiln is owned by Scott Higgins, dad and local resident of Walnut Creek.  We currently have a staff of 3 employees, among whom, these four have played an essential role:

Maryann has been a valued employee for 4 years and can run all aspects of the business from parties to tile wall projects to glazing & loading the kilns.

Hillary is an absolute joy with customers.  We receive a continuous stream of cards, emails and phone calls raving in appreciation of her willingness and ability to help people through their projects.

Ashley is a fantastic artist who does incredible custom work for our customers.  Ask Ashley for some help and you might be surprised at what a great artist you are with a few of her tips.

And if we had a mascot, she would be none other than Molly Lambert.  Nobody can represent better the positive energy and professionalism we strive to offer to each and every customer better than she can.  Now if only we can get her to quit her job as a nurse and work here forever :)
